Barcelona

The pictures were all taken from the top of Montjuic on the southwest edge of Barcelona by the sea. It is a beautiful high hill with an old fort on top. The Olympic village is at the base of the hill, and a stadium is nearby. There were great views from the top: the city, the Mediterranean, and the hills to the north of the city.

The famous cathedral called La Familia Sagrada (the Sacred Family). It was designed by Gaudi in the late 1800's, and they are still working on it. When I saw it in October, I was quite impressed by its beauty and sense of fantasy.
