Our room at the Best Western Inn at Teton Village
(From our balcony we could watch hot air balloons. We could also watch paragliders landing after jumping off Rendezvous Mountain behind us.)

Dornan's Pasta and Pizza Company in Moose, Wyoming
(the restaurant with the best view in the world - we ate there frequently)
and the Moose Village Store

It is fascinating to watch the Tetons change appearance with the light

A misty day in the Tetons

A typical Jackson Hole "Buck Rail" fence
(the fence is named that because of the cross-buck structure which is used to avoid digging post holes in the rocky ground)

The Cathedral Group (the 3 peaks at the left in this photo - Grand Teton in the center, Teewinot on the right, and "Howling Wolf" on the left)

An elk in the sagebrush. Elk are unusual in Jackson Hole at this time of year because they normally migrate up the mountains during the summer. We also saw (but didn't get photos of) moose, bison, mule deer, bald eagles, ospreys, red tailed hawks, and a Arctic loon (which Jane claims was actually a merganser).

Downtown Jackson and the town square with its famous elk antler arches and one of its most famous shoppers!
